Start with a new image in RGB mode Apply the text with the texttool and fill it with a gray shade. Save the selection |

Deselect it and apply the Gaussian Blur filter with the settings 3 - 4 depending how much blur you want. |

Select all (Ctrl+A) and go to LAYER/ TRANSFORM and select first SCALE and make your adjustments, then select SKEW and "drag" the image to the right. |

Now, add a new layer, load the selection that you saved in step 1. Fill it with desired color. Then if you want any effects on the text,you apply them now. I used the Inner bevel filter from EyeCandy. |
