Seamless Background 1

seamb.gif (7481 bytes) Start with a new image in Greyscale mode.
128x128 pixels
Fill it with grey and apply NOISE/ADD NOISE
With amount 215.
seamb2.gif (9925 bytes) Go to FILTER/DISTORT/RIPPLE:
Amount 120, Size: Large
seamb3.gif (6714 bytes) Select FILTERS/OTHER/OFFSET and set
the height and width to 64 pixels
make sure that the wrap around is marked.

Now go to FILTERS/STYLIZE and
select EMBOSS with the settings
Angle -50, Height 2, Amount 99
Change the colour mode to RGB
seamb4.gif (3163 bytes)
 Go to IMAGE/ADJUST/ and Hue/Saturation
Mark colorize and make your adjustments.
